I'm Michelle. Really I'm better described as a modern-day (and female version) of 'Where's Waldo?'. I'm 28 years old and I've been living in Nicaragua since 2007 to help out where there's a greater need for bible teachers in Spanish. Recently I've switched to help out an English group that is just forming. I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses and have been regular pioneering since 2005. Before Nicaragua I served for almost 2 years in an English congregation in Cancun, Mexico... where my heart is. English as a foreign language in Mexico is a fantastic field and one day I hope to return there. In the meantime, I'm trying my hand at learning spanish... so far so good.
The purpose of this website is to help all of my friends and family stay in touch with me and follow along with my travels and experiences in all these cool places that I've had the opportunity to visit. Also, another goal in keeping up this website is to encourage others to see how amazing and fulfilling full time service, and need greater work is. No matter where you're able to serve.... unassigned territory, foreign language fields, as a missionary, or a need greater serving in a foreign country.... or even simply making extra efforts at the priviledge of service in your own congregation.... I can sincerely say Jehovah has exceeded all my expectations. “‘Test me out, please, in this respect,’ Jehovah of armies has said, ‘whether I shall not open to you people the floodgates of the heavens and actually empty out upon you a blessing until there is no more want.’”—MALACHI 3:10.
